Birkenfeld-Stella Maris House

The Birkenfeld-Stella Maris House is a Women & Children's shelter located in Bremerton, Washington. The House is governed by the charitable principles of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, offering shelter, food, and a safe, supportive environment to women - and women with children - in our community experiencing severe hardship. Compassionate assistance is given at no cost and without discrimination. A full-time Case Manager assists clients in their return to independence. The Birkenfeld-Stella Maris House features 25 beds (including 2 ADA rooms), a children's play area, a garden, a comfortable living area, and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room.
